INTERNATIONAL CULINARY ELITE COOK WITH MKN

Cooking unlimited - The international culinary elite assembled in Erfurt under this motto for the Culinary Olympics. MKN, acting as main sponsor, furnished almost 20 kitchens with over 140 professional kitchen appliances. Ranging from HansDampf combisteamers, induction hobs and griddle plates to deep fat fryers, salamander grills and the FlexiChef multifunctional appliance - the kitchens for the national teams and junior national teams were completely equipped with thermal cooking technology from Wolfenbüttel. A total of 54 national teams were absolutely overwhelmed by these competition conditions. Mathhew Wynn, team captain of Australia's junior national team called it, "The best kitchen equipment ever at the Culinary Olympics." MKN not only provided immense support at the IKA with its equipment. Three international MKN chefs were also present the whole time to give final tips to the teams or simply to provide advice and assistence where required. The event resulted in 9630 world class menus which thrilled the judging panel and visitors alike. The coveted title in both the national as well as the junior national competitions went to the Swedish teams.
